The NEXA ULTRA II is the follow-up to the ULTRA 50000. Like the original ULTRA (and the NEXA PIX), the ULTRA II is a two-part disposable vape, with a prefilled pod (16 mL) manually attached to the battery (which houses an additional 4 mL of liquid).
The ULTRA II keeps what was good about the original and trims its size, tightens some design details, and makes it, literally, a snap to put together. In that respect, the ULTRA 50k II is more like the NEXA PIX 35k.
With the PIX and now with the NEXA ULTRA II, the awkward assembly is gone. The new assembly is called the Juicy Lock system, which is a new way of packaging the two-part design that keeps the liquid sealed until the first draw. It’s clean and super user-friendly. Putting the two parts together requires you to just squeeze the device.
Aside from that, it’s basically the same deal as the first ULTRA: a 20 mL transparent tank, two power modes (50k/30k), but now with a 900 mAh quick-charge USB-C battery. The dual-mesh coil and curved display return, along with a new option to switch between light and dark modes for the LED effects, something I appreciate. There are still 15 flavors to choose from, with more likely to come.
I’m already a fan of the original so I’m expecting good things with the NEXA ULTRA II. Let’s see.
